COVID-19 St. Kitts and Nevis Update

St. Kitts and Nevis remains in the fortunate position of having no evidence of novel coronavirus in the federation at this date. Any new cases should be the result of recent travel, and those persons will be quarantined. The island is fully open for business with no curfew restrictions in place. The Government continues to monitor the situation closely with strict protocols in place which are continually being adjusted as the situation changes.

St. Kitts and Nevis Travel Protocols

The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis has implemented several protocols and safeguards to protect both locals and visitors while on the island. Travellers travelling through Low, Medium and High-Risk countries are expected to present a COVID_19 negative test on arrival.  The test should be a COVID-19 PCR antigen test, undertaken at an accredited laboratory no more than 72 hours before the start of your trip.

All travellers are also required to complete an electronic Immigration and Customs Form, which must be submitted 24 hours before departure along with the negative test result.  Immigration and Customs form can be accessed on the official Covid web page for St. Kitts and Nevis.

If you chose to stay with us, you can use the beach on our 6.5 acre land. You can also use the restaurant. But make sure you follow all guidelines. After the first 7 days on the property (if you stay that long) you can join Government approved activities which will be informed about after 7 days. You will also need to take a test on the 7th day. You will continue to only use the facilities of Chrishi Beach Club, however after 14 days and after an other test you can enter the community freely if it showes negative. You will need a negative test to depart the federation as well. Make sure that is booked in advance.

Health & Safety Protocols

As we seek to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our loyal guests and valued employees, we have implemented mandatory temperature screening of villa and restaurant staff on arrival for work. Also, all staff are required to wear a face mask when interacting with guests.

To better serve and protect you, we have retrained our staff per the St. Kitts and Nevis government-regulated protocols and equipped them with Covid-19 literature and classes for their ease of reference. We have also posted reminders of how to maintain good hygiene in visible areas. Should someone display any Covid-19 symptoms, there is a designated quarantine room where our staff will execute the emergency drill.

For ease of convenience, we have included the COVID-19 hotline in a list of emergency numbers. Also, we have equipped all our villas with hand sanitizing stations, introduced COVID-19 kits that contain disposable face masks (initial stock), gloves, rubbing alcohol, thermometer, cotton balls and Panadols and provided a fully stocked First Aid Kit.

As a safety precaution, back to back bookings will not be allowed. Daily, we have increased the routine cleaning and sanitizing of each villa; particularly high contact surfaces. We have also provided staff with all the Personal and Protective Equipment (PPE) required to stay safe and minimize exposure or transmission of virus when doing the cleaning.
